thanks to a virus this weekend on my computer, my parents thought that Gamespy was where it came from so they preminately banned me from Gamespy. Right now I'm weeping in a corner. :cry2

Gamespy used to show up on my Nortons as a virus. In past 6 months they have changed something and it no longer does. But it is still filled with Spyware.

The RD clan does not generally sit in Gamespy to play games:
1. Waste of time sitting around
2. Direct connect is faster, and avoids playing without 3rd pary middle ware (one more thing to make your game crash).
3. Teamspeak and MSN is much more social way to play the game.

Best of luck

You cant find games by just searching the subnet, you'll need your opponents IP (and he must have a server created under TCP/IP). Or you create and give him the IP, if you're looking for players I'll be glad to fight you anytime Smile

Hey King_Tiger_Tank,

That's quite unfortunate, good luck getting back online!

It was most probably your dad surfing porn sites.  Laughing

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
