Hey people,

Just wondering, with the Close Combat series being different to the traditional RTS', what your favourite aspects about the game are? Those that keep you playing over and over.

The maps? The selection of units? The effort/thought you have to put into making the right choices? The fact it doesnt rely on fancy graphics and concentrates on gameplay?

Cheeeeeeers! Razz

The realism and the variety.

The latter means kudos to the modders and the community. Wink

That is a BIIIIIIIIIIIIG question Smile

I could fill up pagers, however...

Definitely the "realism" that has been so important to CC since it's conception.

Also, tactically, it's the best game ever made imho.

CC is great fun for simulating realistic company level tactical battles without the clutter of micromanagement (ie: Combat Mission, Operation Flash Point).

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
