hey,
We have started in March 2006 and still have going GC now. We don;t play alot per day but enough to keep it going.
It was started as v raw alpha of TRSM and experienced all the changes that were applied to TRSM and helped to make mod as good as it is now.
Tho i have changed alot since we have played last time (guess May 2007) thus TRSM has so many bugs in v09/091...
Dima as Allies vs ActionJakson as Germans.
elite vs elite, 15mins battles, 2mins warning, no morale, no initiative.
We've decided to start AAR on like 8th or 9th of June so there where it starts.
Strategic situation on 8th or 9th June 1944 (can be mistaken tho)

Remains of german I./12./12.SS-PzD (only 5 Panthers left) r trying to clear town of Buron off british defenders from BG of 8th/3rd ID.
Panthers r in support of 'invisible' infantry assault
SdKfz 251/9 has shown itself as well
Enemy infantry was spotted and BREN started to fire from high elevation.
After sustaining first casualties germans started to provide smoke screen to screen PzGrenadiere
Enemy lost 3men due to our BREN fire and mortars but still managed to capture houses next to road. AVRE is trying to get those who r probably sneaking but unsuccessful tho forcing germans infantry to take cover and abandon plans to proceed further.
Results of the battle:
Abbey de Ardennes,
Truce from the start here as no side has enuf forces to attack.
Results:
Villers Bocage,
BG of 151st/50th ID is beeing defending vs II./901./PL-D.
Enemy scout team was spotted and PIAT Group was ordered to engage it
PIAT has killed 2 and the last one was annihilated by nearby infantry.
Another german infantry group was shown, PIAT Group has engaged it too.
2 more enemies were killed by PIAT Group but after that it was discovered by germans and annhilated.
German infantry under the fire of 3-inch mortars and riflemen is trying to capture 1st line of hedges.
Universal carrier that was supporting infantry has been KO by enemy rocket launcher after several shots.
Arty strike was called to stop advancing german infantry...
...but before it could inflict some damage the battle was over due to time.
Results:
Tourville,
German 101.SS-sPzAbt, despite beeing out of supplies attacks BG of 9th/3rd ID.
One 6-pdr had clear LOS on side of the most left Tiger and opened fire. Tiger was immob, 1 crewmember was killed but after that all the enemy tanx that had LOS started to fire at ATG. After some time they have managed to disable ATG.
Enemy infantry has tried to sneak into positions to attack but was engaged by PIAT Group and was forced to retreat.
No Tiger was destroyed but we hope that damages we inflicted to on of those 'beasts' will be sufficient for german repair teams to write it off.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
