OK BOB fans, (all 4 of us)
I just U/L'd the Town of Rochefort. I know, I know, it looks like a
CCV map, but it's not. Like Rocherath (no snow), I decided to make
it different from your normal CCIV map, (light snow fall).
If one goes by Atomic, one would believe by playing this game
that it snowed at the Bulge from the 16th on........
As all experianced gamers know, it wasn't snowing at the begining.
(I believe it started around the 26th or so) ..........anyway....
Rochefort is located appx. 12km. N.E of St. Hubert and was the
site of a battle between U.S. forces and the Panzer Lear Div.
As with Rocherath's "Look and Feel " I tried to follow
historical record and included certain elements in the map
to make it as accturate as possible.... and interesting too!
Please read the history files and you will see.
To see the maps check out Ernie_M's Combat Camera area.
BTW, for those interested, replacement of my NEW maps
are as follows:
These locations for these new maps are as close as I could
get to reality. As most of us BOB fans know, the guy (or Gal)
who made the stock Strat Map.... must have been asleep.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
