Question Anyone have a detailed list of the sounds packed within the original Sound.sfx file?. I'd like to change some of the weapon sfx with sfx from a modified file. It has many good .wavs but not all are to my liking.

By detailed I mean what numbers are associated with what weapon, ambient sound, vehicle etc... Would save me some time which is always great!.

BTW I have the SFXPack tool for unpacking/packing.

I downloaded QClone and installed Java Runtime Environment, the program runs but when I try to load the CC4\Data\BASE\Weapons.adb file a window box pops up for a split second and then closes (an error). No data list is generated, any suggestions?

Pasted from www.microsoft.com/support

Microsoft Java Virtual Machine Support
Published: September 12, 2003 | Updated: October 23, 2007

Recognizing the need to provide a smooth transition for current users of the Microsoft® Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM), Sun Microsystems and Microsoft have agreed to extend Microsoft's license to use Sun's Java source code and compatibility test suites. This extension allows Microsoft to support the MSJVM until December 31, 2007, providing customers with the ability to transition from the MSJVM on a schedule and plan that is most effective for them.

The MSJVM will reach its end of life on December 31, 2007. Customers are encouraged to take proactive measures to stay informed about obsolete software and move away from the MSJVM in a timely fashion. The MSJVM is no longer available for distribution from Microsoft and there will be no enhancements to the MSJVM. Microsoft products and SKUs currently including the MSJVM will continue to be retired or replaced by versions not containing the MSJVM.

Obsolete software, whether in the form of unsupported products, old service packs, or even expired certificates, is an issue every customer needs to be concerned with. Microsoft software life cycle communications help customers identify obsolete software in a proactive and ongoing fashion.

I always supected there was a conspiracy. On a serious note, were you able to get QClone working Digs? If not you might need to install an older version of Virtual Machine. I've got one tucked away on my H drive; if you need the install file just PM me.

Would it help with your project if I posted a spreadsheet of the Weapons.adb?

cheers

QClone works, but like I said, I get a error message when I try to open the .adb file. I don't want to install Microsofts JVM due to security issues with it. I'm sure it would fix the problem though...

The spreadsheet is all I really need, thanks in advance.
