Hi.I'm playing my brother at CC5 Overlord, and the back ground sounds are driving me mad. We chat as we play, and the constant noise of non existent tanks and planes does not add to the game experience one bit. The pipe music (I'm Scottish) after a hundred battles is not helping either. Can I get rid of the back ground sounds? Please say it's possible.

You could download CC3Soundhacker and look up those sounds you don't want and replace them with a new sound file.

From your options screen (F turn off sounds.

As for the "pipes", go into the in-game options and untick "play music". You could replace the menu music if you wanted but I don't see the point. Your never in the menu long enough to enjoy it anyway.

Thanks Karlmortar, I downloaded the cc3 sounds editor and replaced the back ground sounds with silent wave files.
