Captain obvious here...
I suggest you back up your entire CC5 contents to another location, after the full installation + patch v5.01a and settings applied. Prior to installing a mod which changes several key files. This is to save you some trouble in the long run if a mod installation fails.
If something goes wrong, just delete your CC5 directory and copy over the backed up files in it's place. If you want to same hard disk space, compress your maps folder.
Another thing, before trying to install the mod again. Delete your Configuration Manager folder and put a fresh copy back in it's place. Copy the mod plug-in back to the "Configuration Manager\Plugins" folder and retry the installation.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
