The power in the wind is so grate, that the building codes we have developed over hundreds of years to meat any extremes are not adequate anymore. We see house roofs blow of, house walls collapse, and barns taking of, together with my greenhouse witch has stood for like 20 years..

Are you saying that you do or you don't normally have storms in January?

Not sure whether we are having more storms or that I'm just more aware of them because of a change of house and improved weather forecasting. The temperature is definitely rising but not to the degree you describe.

Global warming won't make any difference to the darkness!.

Darkness? Where did I say darkness?

I qout my self: “during the last 4 years we have had the 2 greatest storms in a hundred years.”
That means we had the 2 greatest storms in 100 years the last 4 years.

I Said: “Normally we have cold whether and not such storms as all in jan.”
As in when its sub zero we don’t have grate storms, they come at over zero temperatures. And a normal jan has sub zero temperatures, thus not heavy storms.

I said: “The power in the wind is so grate,”
That means they are really powerful storms.

I said: “that the building codes we have developed over hundreds of years to meat any extremes are not adequate anymore.”
That means that the norm of building houses that we have developed and set as standard, we call em building standards, that is made after and based on many hundred of years of storms and weathers.
Them experiances are not adequate anymore, as latest storms has been out of our previous gatherd experiance.. Ie, the beams hold roofs are to small, or the nails is not or brackets etc. As in storms normally never destroys houses, but the latest two storms has.

I said: “We see house roofs blow of, house walls collapse, and barns taking of,”
That means literally house roof blow of houses, that don’t happen that often as we have building codes that have set standards that shall make house withstand normal storms. We also seen whole barns “take of” as blown into pieces.

I said: “and barns taking of, together with my greenhouse witch has stood for like 20 years.. “
That means exact that, my green house was found in the neighbours yard, most of it, but still parts missing. A side effect that since this is that no insurance company pay damages for greenhouse damaged by storm anymore.

I said: “The largest storm fallen of trees in volume ever messures, in them 2 storms (we have stats since 1800th)”
That means trees fallen by the storm winds. As in really powerful winds, and that we have statistics sice many hundred of years, that tell us how much m3, as in cubic meter of trees have been fallen by each storm. We had one powerfull storm in 1967, but not close to any of the 2 last. And since that your back at 18xx, and cant fined any such powerfull storms even COME CLOSE to the latest two.

You said: “The temperature is definitely rising but not to the degree you describe.”(c) Talorgan

Well, global temperatures is one thing, and regional is another. .....
Well, if you cared to look at the links I presented, you would come to the Swedish meteorological institute, as in them who have whether stations all around Sweden. It’s called SMHI, run by the state. And there at each link you have maps of January and February and the average temperature differences against a “normal” year. Sweden uses the same "figures" as most of the world you know "1 - 2 - 3" so maybe you can handle it, or if its to complex let me know and I explain it to you.
If it say "+6" it means the AVARAGe monthly temperature has been +6 degrees higher then the normal year, if it stand "+8" that mean... What do you THINK...

Feb weather compared to a normal year:
http://www.smhi.se/cmp/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=11051&a=33795&l=sv

Jan Weather compared to a noraml year:
http://www.smhi.se/cmp/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=10918&a=33093&l=sv

Im not sure what you know about Sweden, but where I live, we don’t have spring in February 17 th a normal year. And we don’t have flowers and green bushes either.
So its not about “aware” its about statistics gathered for many hundred of years, compared to today’s whether..

Does that explain it?

Nine days in a row of +35C days and the forcast 38 or 39 every day for the next week as well. To be honest I'm getting sick of it. Especially after a nice cool Feb.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
