Howdy. Guess I'm late for the party. This forum seems to have lapsed into disuse somewhat. Be that as it may, let me introduce myself. I'm a Close Combat fan from way back. And as far as I'm concerned, it has never been challenged as the most realistic and entertaining RTS WWII game ever made. I hate Company of Heroes. I hate all of the arcade RTS games they are making these days.
A belated thanks to all who have given me so much pleasure by creating mods for this game--without them I would have forgotten about CC long ago. As it is, I still love playing it.
My favorite version of the game is CC3--but for various reasons I don't have a copy of that right now. Playing the VetBob mod for CC4 right now. If anyone wants to play online, it would be a blast. Email me at Nodlew [at] usa [dot] com.

in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
