Eh, 'Kaput' means broken, as in not working. . Probably not the right adjective here...

I haven't heard of any updates since the last release, but never say never. Many folks around here, incl. me, show ups and downs as the interest in CC is concerned.

Anyway... it would be nice to see Africa '40-'41 improved further. It's still considered 'beta' and hasn't reached it's full potential.

Modders should continue improving their projects (start to finish), instead of moving onto new ones.

Last I heard from Jim, he has further plans for this beauty, but is a rather busy guy....usually cramming 30 or so hours into a typical day. Stay tuned

I agree it would be nice to see this improved upon, I played this recently and the maps are excellent, the sprites very well made and the timing of the GC spot on. However some of the BG's need adjustment as they presently contain vehicles that didn't appear in 1940, while missing others that were there.

In the meantime I see that Salhexe has produced an alternate GC with alternate Weapons and Soldier files. These are to be found within his Vetmod2 contained in this page. I intend to give these a try soon to see if they limit somewhat the 'AT' effect of the massed mortars and allow the initial Commonwealth BG's to have some chance against the first Italian BG's before they are foced back by the 2nd wave.

All in all a facinating subject for a mod, many thanks to its creator
