My copy of CC3 dosen't work anymore, so I bought and download Cross of iron. Fact is the AI gets stale, and is rather retarded at times. I went on game spy but it seems it's pretty empty for people to play against.
So, is there anyone out there? If so lets start setting some dates / times to meet up and fight
Sundays for example are usually good, I've got university during the week though so couldn't give a time i'm totally free then.

hi
This is not an answer to your question,
But if you like CC play H2H, try get a copy of CC5, just at this minute, 2,30 PM (UK) theres 9 players in CC5 game room at GS. Probly more later tn.
CC5 cost lill compared to COI.
Though CC5 dont run with Vista at moment in multiplayer. Maybe fixed in next SP?
I tried cc5 on xp before and it didn't work. Also, cc5 is no longer sold, it's been re-released by matrix i think and so a different version to the one you play. Also I prefure cc 3, but thanks anyway

Actually Matrix has re released CC3 and CCM as Cross Of Iron (COI) and Close Combat Modern Tactics (CCMT). They are supposed to be bringing out CC4 and CC5 re releases too but they are not available yet....
And one can still fined the CC5 CD "brand new" (made 2000) for a few $.. Thats some serious value for a few bux.
But then I hope they get a COI multiplayer community thribing, has not happen ofcose, about the same time back at CC3 relise one have to elbow one self into the overcrowded CC3 game room.
So at this point, in realety H2H is found only in CC5 community.
My bad, i thought they already pulled it as i could find it in no shops, read about matrix and asumed it had already fallen to the same fate as cc3.
There is still the problem that it wont work on my machine, which is running windows xp. Amazon says it's compatible with only Windows 95 / 98 / NT / 2000. So even if i wanted to play, i couldn't.
And of course from what i've played at a friends house a few times before, i prefure cc3 anyway. i apreciate your input though guys, but i'd much rather see an online community for coi growing than jump ship right away.
hey im downloading COI as I type this and I was just wondering if anyone would A.) Want to play against me online or B.) tell me where I can play an online game. Thanks

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
