I have end the 1.0 version (very tested) and I have upload it to www.firefoxccmods.com or www.clannomada.com
Here you can see the readme.txt. I would do one list of changes but they are many and I have not freetime and more important I´m not english and I must think more my words when I write this.

CC5 Invasion Normandy 1946 1.0 Version by Nomada_Firefox
This mod is a "What if" and it is not realistic, I thought it if Germans won on Stalingrad and they contact with Japanese on Asia.
On this mod you can play with probably many or all the strange vehicles and units that you know but nobody saw on war.

I could write you a complete list of changes but I think that the best is play the mod, have fun. Wink

Credits:
To do this mod more fast (only one year of work and testing) I have taken many things from other mods, games and films, probably their creators are the mod creator of my mod. These are the most important that I remember but I could add more things that I do not know now, one year is many time to do a mod.

-Base files, vehicle graphics, part of the sounds, vehicle units from CC4 Veteran and VetBoB Mods by TT.
-Japanese Base files, Japanese submod voices and sounds from CC5 Okinawa Mod by Dynomite.
-Unit icons from CC5 Gold Juno Sword by Atilla, CC5 Bloody Omaha by Manoi, CC5 SAS 3.5 by Mav303, CC5 Meuse 1940 by Tejszd.
-Some vehicle units from CC3.
-Strategic map from Operational Art of War Battle Editor.
-Victory Images and Background images from Band of Brothers DVD Collection.
-Select Side Images from Panzer Elite game.
-Voice from CC5 Ardennes Offensive 1.03 (I do not know the correct creator).
-Maps from CC5 Original Game by Atomic Games, CC5 Gold Juno Sword by Atilla and CC5 Bloody Omaha by Manoi.
-Airplane Graphics from Combat Flight Simulator 1 and 3 by Microsoft Games.
-Some mg sounds from CC3 1945 mod by Eicke.

Probably there are more but sorry I do not remember now.

This is the list of maps neccesary to play the mod, you must put them first on you CC5 maps folder to install the mod. Next install the mod with plugin manager, more info on www.firefoxccmods.com or www.clannomada.com
Remember you do not need the CC5 original maps because they are on your CC5 maps folder.

I´m uploading now the French voices taken from CC5 Meuse 1940 by Tejszd, Japanese voices taken from CC5 Okinawa by Dynomite, Polish voices taken from CC2 by Atomic Games and British voices taken from CC2 by Atomic Games. They are four plugin files, they run as a submod and if you have the 1946 1.0 version installed with plugin manager, you will can install without problems Japanese voice, British voice or both by example without problems.

I must remember you that I will add one new voice file submod plugin when I end it, it is the two Spanish files to Republic and Fascist (There are two complete battlegroups with Spanish units). But you will can play the main plugin without them.

Try the version here Mac... I had to make a few minor corrections tothe install.txt, it worked fine after that. Hopefully firefox can come in and tell us whats up.

I think that you had a bad cc5 installation because plugin manager can not find the original campaign airborne attack when it need to do one backup of them.

I had the same problem as Mac..
Sometime when i'm changing mods, it's as if the pluginmanager deletes or removes some original files...
Very frustrating.
Please fix the install.txt file, pleaseeeeeee

Your best chance at success with any mod is to uninstall all previous mods, back up your SSI folder and install this mod. Thats what I did and I can play it just fine.

Your problem can be that you were downloading the mod tomorrow when I was uploading it again because I had forgot put on credits one name.

I have tested the plugin more of 100 times and I have not problems, I have test this mod from december 2004. But I do not say that it is perfect, it is only my mod more tested never.

Yea fenderbender, I've had similar problems, too.

I performed all of the suggested things listed by MOOXE and Nomada (thanks for the help guys!), but it still isn't working correctly. Sad

I'll have to fiddle with it some more...

I dont know how there can be problems.... Try uninstalling and deleteing your SSI folder, make sure all GJS and BO maps are in the maps folder.

try playing ur reg version of cc5 and see if any of the 1946 units have overwritten ur standard units.if so a reinstall and uninstall will be necessary,if u dont have a copied back up of ur SSI folder

-Invasion Normandy 1946 let you play a complete operation overlord on all sectors, they are Utah, Omaha and Gold-Juno-Sword.
With addition of maps from Bloody Omaha Mod by Manoi and Gold-Juno-Sword Mod by Atilla, I have could do a new strategic map with 44 maps from the 3 sectors. I have taken the more interesting and important maps to play, they are big and good maps, I have only done small changes on victory positions. On few words, now you can attack Caen with British troops and take Carentan with USA Airborne without install two different mods and with strange units, weapons and more.
But I must say you that I´m working on a complete 1944 version more realistic because to do a complete operation overlord is a good idea.

-This mod is based on CC4 Veteran and CC4 VetBoB mods done by TT. I have taken base, graphics, sounds and more from them to do my mod. They are probably the best and more fun.

-On Invasion Normandy 1946, you can play with many battlegroups, some are realistic because they fought on 1944 but other are additions, you can play with bg from many different countries, they are German, Japanese, American, British, Spanish, French and Polish. Probably there were more on 1944 but I have choose these to my mod.

There many new changes on weapons, these are the more important:
-Naval Artillery and 105 mm Artillery explosions are now more powerfull.
-All German mg are more powerfull.
-M1 garand grenade and Mauser grenade are now more realistic.
-American mg are more powerfull, on special 0.50 hmg.
-BazookaM20 3.5in have been added.
-Panzerschreck can fire more long.
-Mortars have are more powerfull, on special with at guns.
-Shotgun added.
-Flamethowers do not need a long setup time and now can fire more long.
-Molotov are a bit different and efective.
-Panzerfauts 100 and 150 added.

There are more changes (sounds and effects) and new additions on weapons but these are the most insteresting.

Infantry changes:
Teams are more bigger (8 soldiers).
More assault teams.
Different armor on units.
Vehicle crew can fight when they abandon a vehicle.
Infantry resistance is different.
Infantry is more fast but they are more tired when they run more time.
Big command teams.
Allied have catured panzerfauts 100 on many command on assault teams.
Rifle grenades give to infantry units more at possibilities.
Only heavy Axis teams has panzerfauts, axis scout has not them by example.
Axis Assault Mg are only on assault teams.
Mortars have less ammo but they have more precision.

I have added the most interesting vehicles and atguns and many more that they were created on 1945 but they do not fought on war because this end. Many of the Graphics are from CC4 Veteran and CC4 VetBoB Mods done by TT.

They have not shadows, I could not add them because B-29 would be too big and on special, I do not find they very realistic, who has seen a shadow airplane some time? I only one time on my live and I see many airplanes all days.


Good, these are to me the changes more important on game files, there are more changes on graphics but you should play the mod to know them.

Does it matter if I got all the voice mods installed at the same time??

Only there are two japanese battlegroups, I do not know what you have done.

You only can have at same time one voice file from one axis country and one allied country, it will be the last that you installed.

Mac u must didnt unload a mod when u installed the 1946 ....

Dont forget you must get no mod loaded on your Cfg manager when u install a mod .... now you will need to get back your 5.0 and patch game to be able to install anythings more, but before reinstalling your CCv, go to your Cfg manager and delete the plugin of the latest mod installed and you must go to the system/packages folder too to delete your folder of mod latest installed ... then reinstall your CCv, and patch it, after that launch your Cfg manager and check if anymod is listed installed, if yes delete it, then launch your CCV unmoded version ..... after that u need to check one more time into Cfg manager/Plugins and Cfg manager/system/packages to see if your latest installed mod is listed somewhere( if yes delete it)

Then u will be able to reinstall your mod into your cfg manager ...


Before reinstalling your CCv, u can doing a backup of your Map folder to be able to dont reinstall all map in :stalin

If you unistall CC5, it will not delete the folder maps if it has other files as new maps.

here are some problems I had

THe 1946 Mod is really cool -- very much a trademark Firefox mod. The sounds are awesome -- battles intense and aggresive.

Two probs:

1) In the plugin version that I downloaded, (from here) The Battle -- Abbaye D'Ardenne was improperly named in the system package (as -- Abbaye DnArdenne == the apostrophe got screwed up.) causing Config 1.3 to cancel the install -- the best fix is opening the install text and copying Abbaye D'Ardenne from it and pasting it into the name of the Abbaye D'Ardenne battle file. (When CONFIG 1.3 Crashes during and install -- CC5 DOES NOT REVERT TO ITS ORIGINAL STATUS -- that means you have a hybrid with a half installed mod (depending on at which point during the execution of the commands in the install script it crashes. That's probably why it claimed Airborne Attack was missing -- the "$" error is a problem with install script.) Ergo, if Config 1.3 crashes you have to fix the problem that caused it to crash AND uninstall and reinstall CC5 before trying it again -- and if it doesn't work repeat process. (Making sure you take your map folder out each time, so you don't have reload all the custom maps) -- mod making is tedious business.

2) My Tare Green Maps and Dog Green Maps are the same. My japanese battle unit starts out on the beach and the Allies have the highground -- is that right?
Are Tare Green and Dog Green the same?

Anyway, the mod kicks ass, FIrefox rocks.
