Last days I have seen very bad comments here about my mods here and I´m thinking on the future, if you continue do not respecting my opinions, I will not make more mods because I will not like CC WAR.
By it, I recomend you to forget your stupid comments and to think on the future of the community. On this moment, if I would can go to the past mondays, I would not release the Ardennes Offensive VetBoB mod. Thanks to the arrogant comments from the people.
Dont give up making mods. Flamethrower at the CSO is a disgrace to the CC community and has done far more harm than good... actually hes done nothing but act ike hes accomplished something, so dont sweat it. since the whole start of this mess with you now considering not modding is lost, Flamethrower calling you a Prima Donna basically did nothing but insult a long serving community memeber whos done alot for the community.
I can agree that having your mods, which you made and offer for free, being hosted by a site that directly makes money on the sale of the base game is nothing more than conflict of interest. Links to non related sites are fine, but its a grey area, and in whats my opinion it was crossed.
None the less I say keep goign with your mods, because without mods, we woudlnt be playing C Canymore and Matrix woudlnt be making money on it. Its a question of soem people biting the hand thats feeds them.
I'd like to have a SAS mod in CCIV WAR. To be honest I bought CC WAR becouse I hope it doesnt have 0000 bug and others that was pretty annoying in h2h play. So, yes, i DO WANT mods:) Especially those with green not white grass:) I hate winter and white scenarios
I bit the hand thats feed me? CC wise? Please point out where. I was part of a free community sicne I left simtek after CCRAF was done.
Lets get it straight who gets money for commerical releases vs what modders make. You make monmey working for Matrix. Which is fine and legal, but yuo benefit the better these releases do, you have soemthing to gain. If the games dont sell, Matrix doesnt exist, you dont make money. Simply a fact.
I recieve no salary or contracted sumes form Matrix and turned down the idea of driving CCIV rerelease into ABTF mod. So I turned down that money, instead working on free maps and mods. I didnt turn it down due to any vendetta, fact is I have lots of non CC comemrical projects graphics wise and (as seems to be backed up because it was never done) the idea of ABTF version of CC IV didnt appeal to me. The talks I had with Matrix were great, very professional and up front, incidentally talks not from any ex Simtek staff, and I simply choose not to do work. No feeding... so no hand to bite.
To be clear, I was paid for work done on the privately done CCRAF and work on Kiosk ect, all non commerical product for CC. No feeding, no biting... and no ass kissing either incidentally, Ill call a spade a spade as far as how I see it!
If a mod is going to be hosted on a commercial site it would be proper to have the modders blessing before hosting it, but not law. It is ok to post direct download links on a commercial site to a modders work. Non commercial sites can host whatever they like, whenever they like, taking into account acceptable community morals and guidelines.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
