I'm being lazy here, I admit it, but if you disband a unit in full supply does it retain 100% of its unts, or is there a percentage it loses?
I know out of supply can lose up to 50%, IIRC? |

I'm not positive but I think I remember reading somewhere that all the units
that are pre-selected in that unit (for the upcoming battle) are automatically
lost. |

Actually I don't think the disband rule works at all in CCV. I don't beleive you lose any units. The rules state that you are supposed to but it doesn't work |

What about the reinforce deal? How many times can you do it and what exactly does it do? |

A BG being disbanded in CC5 causes no losses to units in the FP. |

Really? I've spent ages slowly taking down isolated BG's, just in the hope that i'll cause REAL damage when I finally push them off the map. |

Here is a thread at Matrix on disbanding BG's;
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1948785
Sounds like only the active units that survived at the end of the battle could be lost. So they did lose some units but the penalty is almost nothing since to be disbanded the majority of the active units would already be dead.... |

Thanks for the link T.
But if the player had saved some of his best units, say a tank(s), and then
it was disbanded... it would help some right?
What about the reinforce button, how does that work? |

If a BG has the option to reinforce it can only do so once. So use it wisely when you've depleted a significant amount of your BG. |

I agree with kevin, sometimes the disband rule affects your infantry/tanks that you deploy on the map for the last battle before the disband...but this is not always true!
Sometimes you will lose some units (with % of loss different that are indicated in the cc5 manual).
Sometimes you don't lose any units! |
