Hey guys, what tool(s) would I need to edit the units in CoI? All I want to do is create a STuG and STuH command vehicle(s) so I can run with an assault gun company. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help Stalky,

its in .txt format. All I have is wordpad on this machine, is it a simple case of cut and paste, and adjusting one of the values to make command vehicles?

Okay

Look at the image attached:

Open your geteam.txt file
The values are tab separated, only edit the number and plz keep the tab separation.
The image attached has the values on many lines, thats not so when u open file i guess, but u can see what numbers are shanged from what to what.
The top Stug is regular stug, the second is command edited.

There are 3 values you need shange, and possible the name for the Stug, marked in bold and red.

Try this plz and see if it works.

Plz remember always to make backup of file before start edit

Thanks for the help Stalky. I look forward to running around with an assault gun commander. May all your armor kills be easy.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
