PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 8:18 pm Post subject: CoI Mods error Reply with quote

After playing WaR untill my eyes nearly popped out (ah, x-mas hollidays Razz ) I decided to go back and play some of the mods for CoI.

Startede out with the FinMod, no problem (and it was quite a bit of fun, too). Then tried the GreeceMod, played the first operation in GC, but when I tried to load the savedgame next morning, got the error message "Insert cd" (or something), tried to insert cd, still got the same error msg, and then the game crashed.
Rebooted computer, removed the mod, reinstalled it, played the GC again, and got the same error after playing through the first operation.
Removed the mod and tried another (Poland, I think), but this time I got the "Insert cd" error from the start, and inserting the cd still didn´t help.

Due to insufficent space on my c: drive, all my games are installed on my d: drive, could this cause these errors?

If someone knows how to fix this error please help, as I am getting a little frustrated...

Have you installed the maps for the mods?

Have you installed the "Save Game Fix"?

Schreken: thanx for the fast reply.
Maps installed, save game fix installed. But now I keep getting the same error : attept to set the game to the cooperative level when it was allready set to the exclusive. Ignored the error, and played the first map in the greek campaign, then the game crashed. Rebooted computer, tried again, but this time I couldnt open CoI at all... Game works fine without the mod. Any ideas as how to fix it? I was really looking forward to try these early war mods...

Uninstalled the GreeceMod and tried the Poland 39 instead. So far no problems (played the first couple of maps) although I keep getting the same message; attempt to set the game...etc, etc.
So it seems the big problem is getting the GreeceMod working as the FinMod and Poland 39 works fine. Anyone who has had the same type of problems with the GreeceMod, and knows how to fix it?
