hey guys, my friend and i turned 'end battle when morale gets too low' on for our game. a couple of battles in and we wanna turn it off, its just ruining the game. like i will be rolling him on a certain map, and im gonna take the entire map, but the german force morale gets too low and the game auto ends with him in possession of some vps still.
is there any way i can edit the save to turn it off? thanks
I don't think you can change it once you start the 'campaign/operation'. You may just have to start again, this time knowing you don't want morale
on. Sometimes it is a good thing to have on when playing the AI, keeps it
from getting 'blown-out' on alot of maps. You will also want the timer on in
most cases vs the AI. Settings in H2H depend on what you and your opponent like. Maybe someone else knows some way to change the settings during a game, I'm sure they will chip in if they do. Welcome.
No, I don't believe you can change it midway through a campaign or operation.
If you haven't gone too far into your campaign, you can always start from scratch and then rebuild your maps to the current points of possession. Bascially you fight each battle, but just move your units to the VL's they've taken and then truce the battle.
I love CC for its realism, but think about it.
Is it realistic that you kick your opponents ass so hard that his morale is depleted, and he WINS because of this?
There has been a few threads on the morale feature....
In reality a battle doesn't end just because the troops in a small area ran or were all killed. Both sides would probably have reserves to add into the battle. Thus either way probably isn't the most realistic....
