I'd like to replace a few weapon icons in CC5. Is Gagetmunger all I need for this task, or do I need Gadgtool also?.

Does the weapon icon need to be flipped?. Thanks!.

1) Gadgetmunger is enough, flippes, 16 bit, tga.
2) Before repac, delete the .gdg file or it will not repac correct
3) BUT, Dont delete the extract.dat file

Thanks Stalky, but I read the Gaget Munger text files, they explained everything. Unfortunately most of Rouge5's icons are dark & don't blend in well with the stock icons.

If you want to blend them in with stock icons...you'll need to edit them manually using a graphics editor before packing them with gadgetmunger.

Yes, I realize that Squadleader. I'll have to do brightness, gamma or contrast corrections with Irfanview.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
