One other thing, if design, time, and money can permit.

Allow the user to specify a wallpaper behind the menu screens.

or... best yet ...

Since the menu system is always displayed at 800 x 600, perhaps it should always be displayed in a bordered/moveable (but not-resizeable) window.

Then when the scenario is launched, the designated game resolution would be initialized in another (second) borderless window.

When you return from the game the windowed menu would be made active.

Maybe infrared and laser rangefinders for mechanized/armored units like tanks and IFV's. Just a suggestion.

Just another list of small items  Arrow

Screens and screen gadgets.

+The slider top and bottom buttons are whacked and not animated properly.

+A mission/scenario can be created with no victory locations present.

+There are several gadget alignment issues in the soldier and soldier2 screens.

+There are several gadget alignment issues in the debrief screen.

+The main screen buttons for bootcamp, need to be trimmed several pixes on the right.

+The briefing screen displays when there is no corresponding OP-ORDER text to display.

+The "4" and "5" platoon buttons need cleanup (or removal) on the Map-Info and Force Mix screens.

+The location of the text "Close Combat Modern Tactics" should appear in the same location on every screen. It does not.

+The description area on the Command Screen does not seem to serve any purpose.

Game and game gadgets.

+The rank insignia for Seargent Major displays as Seargent.

Vehicles.

+Various misalignments of the gun flashes for vehicle hull and turret machine guns.

+M1A2 turret can fire main weapon an angles up to 90 degrees of the guns forward direction. This looks very strange.

On-call support.

+The AI will never use more than 1 Artillery or Mortar strike during a game.

+Pre planned artillery smoke graphic sometimes freezes, and wont clear.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
