I just got CC WAR installed on a Dell Latitude D600, 2GB RAM, 1.7Ghz CPU, ATI Mobility 9000, XP SP3. I have every CC game installed, and aside from the horrible bugs I get with CCMT, all games run just perfectly. Until now.
When I load up a map, after 3-5 minutes the game just bogs down to an incredibly horrid performance level. Eventually it is such a slow crawl to just move the mouse that I have to exit. Going through the game menus is equally slow, so I know it is not just the map I was on. Exit game, reload and everything is fine until I load up another map and the same problem occurs. I am kicking myself for paying $40 for what is essentially a mod to CC4, but at the time I just felt like blowing some money. Now considering the game will not play, I am really frustrated.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
