Can we please bring back the flat maps like we saw in CC1.

The flat maps need to have the same nice artwork of recent maps, but they need to be flat like CC1 maps.

From CC2 onwards, I have seen many times, a squad walk across the front of an enemy MG and survive. They survive behind a blade of grass or behind a Stop sign on a street corner. In CC1 they would not have survived

Tanks survive AT guns because one cobblestone on the road was higher than another. All cobble-stoned roads should be flat. Ergo: switch to flat maps.

I have seen teams, not on the reverse slope but on the front side of a hill. They cannot fire on enemy on a field below because the line of sight is blocked cloaking devices.

Get rid of cloaking devices – bring back flat maps

its a matter of drawing the map so that you can spot the height differences
which has been done before, check gjs maps

So far the LOS hasn't been to funky in mots instances I have encountered.  The AI however leaves much to be desired.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
