Here is an idea for H2H play ... relating to the small unrealistic attacker's single deployment zone.
When there is only one small deployment zone:
1) The defender moves a unit to the edge of the deployment zone
2) Select the "Fire" command, and measure back 75 meters ... then click. This leaves a dot at the 75m length
3) Move the unit to the location of dot.
4) Repeat same process on the other side/sides of the deployment zone.
The units at the 75m locations mark the new expanded deployment area.
Since the game can't have an increased deployment zone size ... this simple process expands the deployment zone to a more realistic size.
For example: at Amfreville ... this rule will split the map North and South for deployment, (when there is one small deployment zone in the bottom right side of the map. The result is ... the defender can't totally surround the attacker, thus promoting more realistic battles.
Who knows, maybe Matrix could add a larger deployment zone marked with a dotted line (visual only)... that wouldn't stop players from deploying there (like the gray neutral zone), ... but marks out a suggested larger area, that keeps defenders back further. This would allow more realistic zones, while not causing the problems associated with larger neutral zones colliding.

You could edit the entry VL location to expand the deployment zone... Just a suggestion of something you might want to add to your Realism On Ground (ROG) mod...

Hi Tejszd,
I'm not sure what you mean ... can you explain further?
