Putte - AI led a slow crawl up the main road and the buildings along the side. I chose too many support teams to actually disband the Allies. Sherman immo'd itself on the hedges and my shrek team wasted all ammo trying to kill it at 140m away. The Allies finally snuck enough men into the church to hold it. The diagonal setup of this street favors the attacker.

1 FJ Ersatz at Braakman
Fallschirmjagers of the Training academy rush to seal off the surprise attack of the Highlanders/9th Inf BDE behind our lines. One FlaK 36 manages to tear one Sherman apart, while our mortar teams surpress the oncoming infantry...
In all, the Canadians managed to take more lives and real estate than expected.
Fusilier Bn 164 at Oosthoek
Canadian infantry and Armor attempt to force their way through at Oosthoek. MG 42's and a heavy artillery barrage stop them cold...
Our fusiliers counterattack the dazed Canadians...

Phillipine - I go for the Allied disband and fail. The routes in are covered by a disabled Sherman and too much open ground. I suppose if I commited 90% of my force to the North I could of done it.

I. Grenadier 1038 at Leopold's Canal Crossing
The Royal Winnipeg Rifles needed to break through our sector to advance any further to the banks of the Scheldt Estuary. We had a bunker nicknamed "the Shoebox" that they had to pass through to open up the road...
They did not pass...but they are still in our sector.

~ Strategy ~
* 857/346th Infantry pulls back into Wildert, for better fields of fire in defense.
* I. Bn Fj Ersatz tactical withdrawl into Ijzendijke due to lack of cover and ranged AT capabilities.
* Units form a wall to bolster the frontline in the western section of the strat.
I. Grenadier 1039 at Philippine
Grenadiers engage in a close quarters battle with the French. The fighting is fierce and everything seemed to hinge on the destruction of two rampaging Shermans and a bren team lodged in the easternmost building...
Almost had a total victory until, at the last second, a routed Frenchman ran out and secured the crossroad VL at the last second-

II. Grenadier 1038 at Leopold's Canal Crossing
Opened up on the Canadian rifle teams with heavy machine gun fire while their Shermans were bogged down near the canal out of LOS. Using tactical movements, our soldiers moved in on the enemy and secured everything north of the road. Truppen that overextended past the road were hammered by the Shermans in the canal...
Slowly but surely we are winning the battle for the canal crossing.
858/346 Inf Div at Ossendrecht
Canadian infantry assault Ossendrecht in force supported by a trigger-happy Sherman. It was a difficult task trying to contain their assault...

Fusilier 164 at Oosthoek
Canadians once again push into Oosthoek from the southeast with infantry and Sherman tanks. Their clever attack resembles a WW1 charge through an open field...
The Canucks went down like ducks in a row- but we paid for the final assault into the buildings with our blood.
I. Fj Ersatz at Ijzendijke
The Fallschirmjager battalion pulled back into Ijzendijke in the hopes that the armored Highlanders would attack a stronger sector. Instead, the Highlanders pursued them into town and a hell driven street fight ensued...
The Highlanders caused many casualties.
I. Grenadier 1039 at Philippine
The battle opened with our schreck teams hammering two of their Shermans while our infantry cut apart the Frenchmen in the fields and canals...
We now have the opportunity to counterattack into the Allied depot at Terneuzen.

Mooxe- we'll hold them off until you get back from the field...
II. Grenadier 1038 at Leopold's Canal Crossing
The Canadians came out swinging at the bell and immediately tried to secure the bunker and the southeastern VL. We held the "Shoebox" with minimal casualties, but had a staggering loss of troops trying to hold the exit VL...
It's only a matter of time until this brawl gets the best of us...we may have to drop back and defend the town to the northwest.

858/346 INF at Ossendrecht
The 858th needed to secure one building and hold the rest of their territory to beat the enemy off this map...
After the building was secure, we held off the enemy with 120mm GrWerfers , FlaKs, and assault infantry armed to the teeth. When the smoke cleared, time ran out for the Canadians, and our soldiers chalked up a victory.
