Found It

Turn off the features that URL details. Win7 does something called Virtual Store (VS). The best I can gather or remember from dealing with this is Win7 makes some sort of virtual copy of the program so that it cannot be altered. VS must be turned off in order for users to be able to alter the installation.

Further advice, since I do not know the state of your install...

- Uninstall patch
- Uninstall CC5
- Delete SSI folder
- Open Config Manager and delete all plugins
- Reinstall CC5 to regular /Program Files/ folder
- Install 5.01 Patch
- Install Mod
Voila!

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
