Are there any active clans or groups in this game anymore? Pzt would like to have a game with another team. There are about 10 of us who have expressed interest the past couple of weeks in getting together for a team war.
Nothing fancy. Just a fun file to kick around between teams.

Yeah, we've got guys that want to play. Myself, Mac, Crackwise, Verboten, Kevin, XLegione, and Kami, off the top of my head. Some others are also interested buy may not have time due to military deployments or other obligations (Nemesis, Penguin, Jackaroe). A team of 6 or 7 is realistic though.
If there are just 2 of you then honestly it is probably best that we do not proceed with this as a clan vs clan war at this time.
I think now that we will continue with this as an in-house event. If I do so then you and any others are welcome to participate with us of course. We've always welcomed guests to participate in our events without requiring them to abandon their existing clan allegiances.
We can communicate via I.M. on this forum going forward I you'd like, or registered users are also able to send IM's at the Pzt forum as well, so you can always reach me there.
Ehh, not much happening in the CC world these days. Thought it might be fun to put together a group of guys to have a team war, if possible.
Been fun playing some cc again recently though, and running into some of the old die-hards. Been quite some time. Still a cool game after all these years.

Morning of day 1 (11th), 2nd battle of the war (Villers in the North).
Alright. Here we go.
Fought in Villers Bocage against RD_Knights-X.
I took 5 tanks (2 Fly's and 3 Croms), a couple of assault squads, other infantry, and 2 mortar teams (4 tubes).
Deploy
Stuff was hairy at the start. He was charging through the south, which I didn't expect, but I got it under control quick enough with a command team supported by a Crom tank. Then all hell broke loose in the center.
Lost a Crom and a Fly. He lost a couple Panzers and a couple of 2cm Armored Cars.
My assault team did well assaulting a Panzer with explosives when it dared get too close to that house. Another 2cm moves in but is destroy by that Crom moving down to cover.
His forces were pretty hammered by this time, but he attempted another charge through the south which was met again by reinforcements that I'd by this time sent down there, and then halted when I called in the airstrike.
Overall Knights-X charged in hard and paid the price.
Result...
Next battle...
TOURVILLE, Morning of day 1.
vs Knights-X
I was guarding 3 VL's.
And it didn't take long to realize that they would be gunning for that south Carpiquette VL.
His Tiger came charging in and my Fly lost that duel, so I brought in a couple of shermans to flank that road. Then the Tiger just parked it on the bridge, I think he was immobile...
Then I met with another Tiger further North... Man, I needed to win this one or things could get really ugly...
Losing both of my FF's so early would have SUCKED!
But that Tiger eats it!
Then he sent everything he had to that Carp vl in the south.
I brought in that FF along with a couple Shermans and infantry support teams and started unloading on the Germans.
Finally killing that Tiger on the bridge along with 2 more Panzers advancing on the south VL with gerry squads. Then my FF SURRENDERED!! WHAT?!
Then the Germans secured that Carp VL with time running out and my men slow to charge to recover it.. charging everything I had down there to recover it...
OBJECTIVE RECOVERED BY GREEN RIFLE SQUAD "G PIMPIN"!
Result... Both the Tigers in this enemy BG already toast.
No screenshot due to the crash truce thing. Basically a 6 tank formation backed by crack panzergrenadiers. O used sound suppression fire from the tanks to forcy rifle and assult teams to withdraw or remain suppressed. I snagged a PzIv that fell victim to an ATG on defend and lost 2 cromwell tanks in close tank combat.
Verboten"
Wruff vs RD_Helmut
Fought Helmut in Carp...
Destroyed all of his tanks and HT's. Only his infantry gun survived.
As long as we can hold in Tourville then they will have no fuel now here in Carp next round.
"Unfortunately my attempts to capture screen shots failed first time. Have a pic of end result below. Deploy was tough position. He held ground in forest south of exit VL. A concentrated attack in this area would have been tough to stop. Instead he deployed cats in areas near where they died (see red Xs on map) and one further one north.
In short, 3 panthers down for no allied losses. Teamed his tanks with at least 2 tanks, often flies and hit them side on in every case. Almost got the 4th tank but time ran out.
Also we now hold forest south of exit VL to river/road.
Perfect defensive position now for next battle here.
Map legend: Blue dots are flys, ^ shermans, -( ATGs.
mik vs RD_Knights_X
Caen and Villers.
Caen was quiet battle. He lost 1 Jag first shot to 17pdr I'd positioned with limited LOS down road. I cleared some territory he held on our side of river. Nothing else signficant happened.
Villers I (mik) took my first losses so far. Unfortunately I pressed too hard early without sufficent coordination in my attack and took some unnecessary losses. He killed 1 fly, 1 crom, 1 ATG and 1 crom immo. However for that he took some heavy losses also, 2 Mk4, 2 Mk3. Not as good as I'd like but still a loss ratio vastly in our favour. And I took ground.
All up for last 3 battles:
Gerry: 3 panthers, 1 Jag, 2 Mk4, 2 Mk3 and pushed back on all fronts.
Allies: 1 fly, 1 crom, 1 immo crom, 1 ATG
And This picture shows the Allied Deployment on the Battle Field. You can see the German direction of attack as shown by the arrows:
Germans Directed their main effort towards taking the N231 VL ,Also they attacked (As shown in the Deployment picture) towards Tourville exit VL that already is in their hand maybe to consolidate their position there because their assault there was weak !
the part (1) of the below shows How the initial infantry attack failed to take N231 VL by going under fire from infantry ,Tank and Mortar fire. Part (2) shows Germans reinforcing their attack by bringing in two Panzer IVs but as they positioned too close to eachothers I called for our Air Strike and a RAF Typhoon attacked them and caused some damage to them both. Later first one of the PzIVs Blown up a minute later by my cromwell there which named "Com III" (Part (3)). In part (4) You see Germans brought another PzIV up from the south ,But immediately destroyed by Com III crews. Confident and Encouraged by their actions ,The crew of Com III gone mad and went to hunt down the last of PzIVs there and thus halt the german offensive here ,And as you can see in part (5) they succeed
(click image for full size view)
The game ended after germans thrown whatever troops they had near N231 VL to take it as well as Allies tried to prevent them to do so ,But both failed and N231 VL became neutral !
The end Result

Jumping ahead a couple of rounds....
Day 4, Morning.
Pzt_Wruff vs RD_Overkenshin in TROARN. Finishing up this round...
My selection..
Deploy.
Again, I would give a stiff fight for Bavent VL in the east, but wasn't going to throw the kitchen sink in trying to hold it either, so I deployed a task force to counter behind enemy lines as well.
The enemy was determined to finally secure Bavent, and deployed heavily towards it.
Immediately a Panther appears with infantry support..
Our command Sherman waits until the panther is reloading and then moves right in to engage and get off the first shot...
A couple of rounds are exchanged, but the Panther goes up in flames..
2 more panthers move in..
Enemy HT burning in the road,,
My AT team will not fire! FIRE! No,,, they are just killed, so 2 panthers still prowling in.. however wary of my sherman still fighting from its position behind the building..
Eventually overwhelmed though the sherman finally burns and enemy teams charge in to finally secure the VL...
While the enemy is busy in the East I launch my counter assault towards his own supply line in the West.
2 of our infantry teams escorting our Firefly... Kills enemy team and proceeds towards enemy supply VL where another panther awaits on guard..
With the enemy supply VL in sight, I call in an airstrike on the panther..
The panther is damaged. Hoping that its gun is damaged so that our Fly won't be contested...
The panther still has its gun. Our FF engages the cat hoping to strike a lethal blow, but to no avail. Fortunately the panther seems more concerned with the team stealing their VL than the FF.
The enemy supply line is secured as time expires...
Both of these BG's are with 1/2 supply now. Hopefully the enemy BG will move on to Bavent where they will be attacking with 1/2 fuel into our waiting BG.
And then our BG here in Troarn can dig in and hunker down for the next enemy BG attack.
We lost 1 Sherman and 1 Stuart.
Only infantry we lost were a couple of green teams
This was a very heated battle. Nice change of pace here in Caen.
vonUther would attack with everything in the south, breaching the near buildings with the support of HMG fire and direct cannon fire from several tanks. I also spotted an enemy team up the road along our near river bed.
Our teams wipe out the first wave...
and then the 2nd wave...
...then mop up and reacquire our previous positions..
Was an intense fight. vonUther mounted a nice attack which was tough to defend. RD's strongest effort yet in Caen.
Our Howitzer positioned in a building in the North with LOS to the South provided nice suppressing fire against the enemy MG42's across the river, and also killed an HT up north.
Overall, minimal allied losses, with no loss of allied equipment...
"The germans attacked with caution, no significant progress obtained by germans.
Few casualties from both sides."
"Battle of Villers Bocage
The germans attacked the VL to Juvigny, tough battle with heavy casualties from the german side, unfortunately the 00.00 bug frozen the game.
We rebuild the battle, at the end 1 tank + 1 HT destroyed, Juvigny VL got by germans.
Both disappointing battles unfortunately, mostly unlucky but at Cristot definately some was due to being too aggressive.
Caen was boring, same kind of attack as last one against Wruff, same result basically, fair amount of losses, lost a para tank unfortunatley to SPG I didn't see. All in all basically held the same territory. They hung well back not daring to put Jags anywhere near potential ATG LOS.
Cristot hurt, lost 1ATG, 1 fly, 2 shermans for 1 tiger. Mostly unlucky to lose this much but definately wouldn't have happened if I wasn't trying to tighten the screws on them. Tigers were engaging infantry to so I took the opportunity to take some pot shots at them. Unfortunately they got the better of me. First one was fly shot through hedge after tiger shot at infantry. About 400m. Tigers HE round immo'd the fly, 2nd or 3rd shot (AP) killed it. Fly's rounds had no effect.
Similar story with loss of sherman. Tiger was engaging infantry, I had limited los in tress, was moving in for shot and retreating. Had sherman and fly teaming the tiger. Sherman danced after it's 3rd shot and was killed. Fly behind wall eventually got tiger but took ages with obstructed LOS. Fly hit the tiger more than 10 times I'd say, was firing so long that I was starting to think I wouldn't get the kill. Perhaps due to obstructed LOS. I wonder if it is realistic for 17pdrs to have this much trouble with Tigers? The gun could go through 200mm of armor plate at 1000m iirc. Tiger has 100mm of frontal armor.
1 sherman lost to german infantry team which was totally avoidable. I just didn't see them advance and though I was ok... either way was dumb, wasn't thinking.
If I'd just waited for him to make a move it almost certainly would have worked better for this battle.
Still, this BG is now down to 3 tigers. That means at least one of the two tigers immo'd last time was lost. They'll be out of supply here too as long as we can hold out inland."
I played in Villers vs Helmut. Wow our BG is beat up there. No tanks whatsoever for us. We need to stop needlessly burning up our armor gentlemen.
Secured ground on both flanks.
Killed 2 of his AC, we lost no AC's and no guns.
Lets try and be resourceful with our units guys. Stop throwing armor at their armor, especially when it is not even necessary.
Tourville, vs RD_DeathDealer..
Here come the panthers,, and lots of them.
deploy.
Assuming that our armor would be without fuel I deployed them in hedges ambush positions in "Great" cover.
The only kill of a panther however was from this excellent AT team lying in ambush in the bunker as 3 Panthers bore down on our position there.
Our armor was worthless against the panthers here. Even our FF, lying in ambush at great distance with clear LOS on their HT lost to the HT. Couldn't believe that one. The Pak HT charged in from distance and destroyed the FF at great range. I don't know if the FF even got off a shot. It just burned up.
We did, however, hold the center of town. Our little lmg team tossed a grenade from the church immob a panther there. Covering fire from immob Sherman helped, and our teams fought bravely.
I fought using a scout team with covering fire from our ATG to hold onto the Gavrus vl. There is no enemy BG in Gavrus and we may take advantage of this road and occupy that map behind their line.
The enemy will probably move their 902 Lehr to Gavrus to meet us, but we can defend ourselves in Gavrus even without supply. We have no chance staying in Tourville with no supply vs Panthers. This BG will be absolutely decimated in 1 round if we stay.
We would also cut the enemy supply from Villers through our occupation of Gavrus.
GENTLEMEN. WE MUST LIE IN AMBUSH. DO NOT BURN UP OUR ARMOR NEEDLESSLY. THE ENEMY IS ATTACKING HARD IN CONCENTRATED AREAS NOW. THIS WAR HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN.
DO NOT LOSE OUR DISCIPLINE, ESPECIALLY NOW!!
We've got a long way to go and the enemy has superior armor numbers and much better armor (tons and tons of panthers).
And be resourceful with our units. Position our little AT (piat) teams in forward positions and try to hit enemy armor with those instead of so needlessly exposing our armor.
Discipline EVERYONE.
Wruff

Comrades we have to follow the orders, we have done very well until now and it is the moment to resist at the maximun german effort.
They have to pay a lot every meter of ground gained, if we follow this tactic the victory is ours.

Day 5, Morning..
Pzt_Crackwise report...
Played vs RD_Overkenshin at Carpiquet and Troarn.
Carpiquet:
Initial deployment:
The results:
Both sides lost some infantry. I lost the big hangar though, i had expected them to attack mainly towards east. So the troops were kind of thin down in south.
Troarn:
Troarn is as Wruff sometimes says, where it got fun : D
Troop choice:
The initial deployment:
The tanks and guns all covering the potential lanes of his tanks.
Some intense fighting in the center:
Little allied force left in the center towards the end, but the flanks were under allied control:
The battle crashed at 00:00. The battle was rebuilt according to vehicle losses and territory. In the rebuild I had forgotten to turn on UOSU, so I'm presenting here Overkenshin's screenshot of results:
Overall, it was a good hunt. We lost one 6pdr, they lost 3 mark4 tanks and 1 HT. Some counterattack was carried out in the western flank, but eventually met with some strong resistance.
Let us hunt their tanks one by one, and leave them no choice but to surrender!
Vorwärts Männer! Mir nach!

Wruff report...
Finishing up the morning of Day 5.
vs RD_Knights-X in Boise du Bavent.
Panthers attacking...
Very tight map. Not much room for Panthers to roam.
I wanted to keep the enemy boxed in and hit them at close range. This would be the enemy's only battle with full fuel here (as long as we occupy Troarn), so I figured they be gunning for the exits, particularly Merville Batteries in the S/E.
Enemy moved in the south towards the Merville Batteries exit.
His infantry couldn't advance, so he led with his panther and that panther was confused and beat up at the crossroads by flanking shots from our 6 pdr which I moved into position (North), along with grenades and smoke from our supporting infantry teams nearby.
The panther crew bailed out and was quickly killed. An enemy HT also bites it here from my other 6pdr. (6 pounders move around nicely during battles for LOS on this map)
My 17 pounder there was destroyed by that HT that's burning in the above pic.
My piat team immobilized another panther facing north right at the start of the battle. My piat teams were both killed by single shots, one from an immobile panther (N) and another (shown above) from enemy airstrike.
Overall I was okay with the result. We lost one gun, but the enemy is now down to 1/2 supply here, and they failed to advance, and also lost another cat.
Now lets keep them boxed in on this tiny map and kill them one by one.
