Oh, Bellew I forgot to answer you about that. Embarassed

Yes I make models, but only during winnter Wink I'm interested in vehicles which where used in WWII (especially tanks). My favourite scale is 1/35.

And you, buddy? Smile

I used to do 1/35th scale had a whole russian army t-34s and all + german pumas and paratroops but in new zealand 1/35th cost a lot of money i paid $35.00 each for the t-34s.But now because i have no job i changed to 1/72 scale there a lot cheaper.I just brought german and american battle of the bulge men should be able to make a great diorama out of them.

Back in 85' I made a WW2 Snow Scene (Bulge)
out of Tamya models 1/35 scale.

(These models are VERY expensive now).

Scene contained Pzkw IV, Strumg IV, Pzkw VIb,
(2) SDKfz 251/10 (one w/Wurfs) Amer. & Ger.
troops included.....Everything in a box now since
I moved into new house

I like very much models.

I've got two 1/35 tanks (a tiger and a sherman); several 1/72 planes (B17, He-111, B25, Hellcat, Avenger, Spitfire,...) and 2 1/350 battlecruisers Very Happy; the KM Tirpitz and the USS Arizona.

It's a shame but now I have no time to make any other model; the USS Arizona is not finished yet even I started many months ago.

I used to make 1/35th models, but they take up too much room. So now I make 3D military models with 3dsmax. Much less space. As much or more time though.

Cooool. Models. Smile

I build from time to time. Currently building the Ardennes KonigsTiger 1/35th scale. FINALLY
Here's the finished version (mine's still in a thousand pieces).

I'm going for an eastern front paint scheme, unlike this Ardennes look.

SOLDAT_BELLEW. I had a nice site that I was going to post with some good tips, but it's gone!

If you've got any killer scale model sites then post 'em.

Hey. Anyone have a nice color pic of a king tiger on the eastern front?
please post or send me @ wruffcc [at] yahoo [dot] com THANKS

Sorry for not responding sooner LUFT_SOLDAT_BELLEW

The base was made of a piece of white Styrafoam.
I made a burnt out farm house of cardboard with doors
and windows. House had a "Thatched Roof" burnt through.
A Well and Shead were also added.
German column comming up the road to the house with
infantry on foot.

Fake "Snow" in a can was used to spray the whole thing down!

1st SS panzer Div. Vehicles:
SdKfz 250/1 : Lead vehicle with troops getting out
PzKpfw IV Ausf J
StuG IV
Tiger I
SdKfz 251/1 (Werf)
Motorcycle with Side Car
Assorted SS troops on foot....

I should have taken a pic of the thing...
All in a box now...Someday I may do it and redisplay
