Hello,

My setup:

Win 7 64 bit, Original CC3 (not iron cross), applied CC3 Patch v3.0b, nocdcrack, and config51.

I've installed CC3 into the dir c\:PCGames\CloseCombatIII and I run it and the config51 in windows 95 compatiblity mode.

Now I've downloaded the France v3.pln file, placed it into the plugins folder, ran the config51.exe, and installed the plugin.

Once I start CCIII it takes me to the main menu which has the correct graphic for the mod. When I click on "play game" however I get the following error message.. "Close Combat CD is required to play this game".  I do have the cd in the drive and have properly applied the nocdcrack, neither seem to help me at all.

I click OK to say that I do have the disk inserted and then I get a new error message.. "Close Combat was unable to open the file: C:\PC Games\Close CombatIII\Data\Base\uoNames.txt"

The "uo" has an apostrophe over it and a line threw the o.

Does anyone know the solution to my problem?

Hi,
Solution already posted

"Posted: Sat Mar 29, 2008 7:57 am Post subject: France 1940 Mod Verision 3 Troubles"

Try to paste : "úø" on the beginning of the file name

(On the file named "Names")

A bientôt.
