I recently bought a copy of cc3 for nostalgia's sake and am trying to run it on a windows 7 64bit computer. I installed cc3 Russian without any big hiccups and set everything to run in win98 comparability mode as admin. When I start the game it opens up the process, goes full screen and then stays black. I can hear the loading screen sounds, have a cursor but everything else is just a black page. To exit I have to open task manager and manually end the task. I've tried re installing, turning off antivirus ect. but none of it worked. Currently the game is installed to Program Files x86.  Any help is appreciated.

I don't know about win98 comp mode but maybe try XP mode?

XP mode did not work. I just realized I forgot to post my specs so here they are.

Win7 64 as previously mentioned
AMD 2.8ghz quad core
8gb DDR3 RAM
Nvidia gts 450

You have to disable the video settings,  Try to run options (by double-clicking game icon holding CONTROL key)
When options window appear select "general" on upper tab and try to disable videos. Then press ok.
