Yes he should be remembered for sure...great soldier, citizen, hero to our nation.  The WWII vets won't be around much longer.  I got to see 2 Luftwaffe pilots and ME-262 squad leader give speech at air show few weeks ago.  Amazing these vets are still alive & kicking at least for a few more years.

Yep it's sad that so much history will vanish as the WW 2 generation will perish.

The Band of Brothers - guys have probably received quite a lot of fame, probably more then the average soldier. So in that sense, Buck's passing isn't such a tragedy, his story has been told and will be remembered.
