This is a custom campaign for GJS 4.4 (10 day campaign). Played in a recent team war (2012).
The event was hosted by Pzt CC Gruppe. File created by Pzt_Wruff.
This campaign is unique in that it has several fighting sectors, so begins as a 3 front war (North, West, and South sectors). Success in this campaign depends upon great strat and tactical consideration from the German and Allied commanders.

Yes. A fun War. Thanks for posting it. Now we just need to see your pre-battle plans and initial movements .
Actually, I don't mind sharing that.
This is from our war room in preparation for this campaign, and the strategy we went with in the contest...
"This would move our heavy armor (Panthers) away from enemy coastal Naval, and away from the enemies heavy armor BG's and towards their softer underbelly in the West where the big cats can really do some damage and make good progress.
Will also serve towards eventually linking up sectors 1 and 2 and putting the squeeze on the allies between those sectors.
If we can connect sectors 1 and 2 then I think it would be advantageous towards achieving our end objectives.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
