The French are speaking German.. Is there no French voices?

Yes, there are French voices when playing as the French....

Just tested playing as the French with the Native Language confirmed on and heard French. Playing with it off I heard English with a bad accent.

Under Options on the General tab in the Language Options do you have Soldiers Speak: Native Language?

Edit: Just tested playing German and heard German and English with a bad accent (different than the French bad English accent)

Can you check in the \Close Combat The Longest Day\Meuse\LocalFX and make sure you have;
- EFRVox.sfx
- FRVox.sfx
- GEvox.sfx

Just downloaded the file from CCS using the link above and installed the mod and I get French voices....

Maybe someone could add some of these taunts to the English "accent" voice files.

French voices work fine on my install too.

I suppose they work fine, I just wasnt aware of what settings to be on, or was familair with them....


My GC vs the AI is over I think. Its only day two, finished my last morning battle and game crashed. I tried to play the save game but get "Out Of Memory" error each time which crashes back to desktop. Thought it may have been memory, so rebooted and same thing.

Yah here it is... and yes patched up.

Just noticing file size now. Regular saved GCs are 1.5megs give or take. This saved GC is now only 8Kb, and 287bytes rar'ed. I am gonna assume 100% corrupted.

Definitely not the right size.... Haven't seen any corrupt saves since installing "CC-TheLongestDay-Update-55014b.exe" myself.... The CCE.exe should be dated March 8/2012?

H2H GC tonite. Had an airstrike crash CC5 style. German airstrike launched against three french teams. Two inf and one AT gun. They all died on my screen, but opponent crashed out before he could see it. Both patched up.

I have had 2 other air strikes causing a crash report but was for the French; doesn't seem to be a pattern. I think your right that at least one of the CC5 air strike/morale crash causes must still exist. Who was the host?
