T34's in Kellys heroes,the classic 60's film,
this may be old hat,but ive just noticed
the tiger tanks in the film look like made-
up T34's..am i right?..who cares? Question

Im sure it was a T-34 chassis used for the Tigers in that movie.
They did a respectable job with it. Frequently film makers just
slap german markings on an allied tank , halftrack or whatever
and its always spoils the illusion. At least they they tried
in that movie to make it believable. I think it was filmed in Yugoslavia
so they probably had easy access to old soviet equipment and
world war II era stuff.

thankx for the reply gi joe,i wasnt realy knocking kellys heroes,it was a far better effort than most 60's films,just curious having only just noticed.watched this film as a kid with my dad,now my kids have watched it,
they realy got into oddballs un negative waves.ez man! Laughing

I do believe that some of the German tanks in
'band of brothers' were in fact t-34's dressed up.
Personaly id like to see them as t-34's,
which I.M.H.O is the classiest tank ever,dressing them up
to look like something less worthy is a shame.
They remind me of ''the Daleks'' from Dr Who?
enough!!!.

i just saw a old 60 movie about the battle of bastone forgot what it was called but the german tanks looked exactly like patton model tanks Laughing how weak plus the historical accuracy was great Razz *sarcastic*
