Playing Close Combat: Invasion Normandy, TLD, WAR, LSA I have noticed that even though the soldier's ranks change according to whether he is part of the Wehrmach, Luftwaffe or SS, the ingame sounds when a leader is hit is always the same no matter what branch he is in. For example a Oberscharführer (senior NCO of the SS) who falls always causes someone to call out "Feldwebel!" instead of for example "Scharführer".
Would it be possible to have a SSvox mod where SS is set as an separate nation, where the voice files matches the ranks?

Thank you for your feedback!
I'm thinking the only things that needs changing is the files containing "Obergefreiter", "Feldwebel", "Leutnant" and "Hauptmann", which would be replaced with for example "Rottenführer", "Scharführer" and "Sturmführer", but I might be wrong.

Are there voice cues out there we can use or create?
Let's put them here, creating the files would be easy.
I'm American so I have no clue on German accents but would be more than willing to put all the voices together.

I have made in the past for TLD two vox files for PzGren/SS tanks and regular/SS infantry, so yes it is possible but as squadleader_id says we need someone who records the new SS ranks then it will be complete.
Michael, I've always loved the CC2 voices they are a main component of my modified german vox files that I've used since CC4. CC3 also has great german voices.
Edit:
What do you think about this? do you think it affects gameplay?

Ha! Nice find
I looked through a few movies where they might have been mentioned, but they only had the traditional Wehrmacht ranks. Do you think a native German speaker here would record it himself?
