Hey guys! For historical reasons, it's June 6th so I think it's time to start a Let's Play for Panther's in the Fog.
AIMS:
I want to give you an introduction to the game and give you my opinion of the game. I want to crush the AI in decisive battles, and help new players discover the Close Combat Series.
This is a Post Commentary LP. It'll be short (one Operation), and I'm not aiming to take/hold territory. Game-wise, defeating the AI on the tactical map is all I care about. Otherwise, I want to find more CC players and get them playing games!
SETTINGS/PERSONAL RULES:
I'm the Americans. Operation: Mortain Day Two. Both Elite. Force Morale gets too low. No time limit. Two-minute warning. No Fog.
SCHEDULE:
This LP will be uploaded Thursdays, one video per week. Other CC videos may be uploaded between episodes.
ABOUT ME:
I'm an experienced player of the Close Combat Series who started playing in 1998. Last year, I started a gaming channel for Close Combat. Although I'll be moving on to other things (Achtung Panzer, Combat Mission, Animations), right now my channel is full of Close Combat videos.
My favourite Close Combat game is still CC2. But I really like PitF.

Episode Summaries
Part 1: Decisive Victory
Today, I get straight into the first tactical battle. I outflank the enemy by Fatiguing my men and take on the Germans in close-quarters street-to-steet tank combat. I don't show the Strategic Map this episode - that'll be shown next time.
Part 2: Strategic Map and Server System
This time, I discuss the decisions I made on the strategic map, and the new interdiction option. Then as I battle to take a town, I discuss the controversial multiplayer server system and attempt to give an un-biased opinion on it.
Part 3: Crush Their Morale!
Having forced the Germans into a corner, my battlegroup has to fight in close urban combat to take out Panther tanks. Although this battle turned into an attritional battle, the enemy morale breaks, resulting in total victory.
Part 4: Next Gen CC News
As my battlegroup fights to take the town of Mortain, the Germans manage to get behind my lines and take a victory location! Shock, horror! I also discuss the news that the next game in the Close Combat Series will have a different type of strategic map campaign system. For me, this is good news!
