I'M assuming no games will get any new patches until they are finally done making any new games.
It's just been the Norm to move onto another new game time after time again from what I've seen.
I get what you are saying, though you have to admit that when we found things in development of PITF, they did fix several of them before it went HOT. Not all.. But many before the 1st patch.

Hey Guys,
That's a great price, and I would think that people would jump on that.
One thing that doesn't seem to get mentioned around here, or maybe at Matrix either. If you get WAR, you basically get TLD too, since TLD mods work with WAR.
If you download the TLD Classic mod, and David's Ground Tactics mod, you have enough CC to keep you busy for a long time.
Or in my case (using CCMT), you can just use the maps. There is a lot of good map material in WAR.
These could be desperation prices (ala no sales), or it could reflect the age of the games, where discounted prices are the norm. It is just that now days, we are seeing very long life-cycles for many PC games, CC titles among them.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
