Hi I have just bought a used copy of CC3 Rusian front.

I realise all you guys on here are experts in these matters.  My enquiry is going to sound daft to you I am sure

years ago i had a patch called Real red that made the game even better.

Can anyone advise me where to get this patch and or a better patch?

after playing with the expanded range of units support and armour I'm not sure i will enjoy the game as much without the patch!

Please advise?

Hopefully I will be able to get it to work and I will be as crap at playing it as i used to be.  Only ill be crap whilst playing a far superior game!

Sorry to be a nuisance Ivan.

I think that I unzipped the file.  Does this mean that the patch has automatically found its way to the game ?

I have no idea if its been successful?

I seem to remember years back having to manually patch it into the games files etc.  this was on a different version of windows though.

Is it possible that i need to do more only i cant get the unzipped files to display for some reason?

Is for a CC5 mod, but from step 3 onwards, it's pretty much the same.
You can start in Step 3 then jump to Step 7 and should be ok.

gorgon make sure you patch your cc3 with latest official patch http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Downloads&cid=33
