| I do not play online much, but as far as I know people match each other through a platform called GameRanger. |

A good game you will like it. Play the full SP campaign also. Don't forget to patch it up, before playing! The patches can be found on matrix or google and are in the downloads section on this site as well.
Regarding cheats I have stayed away from multiplayer because of it, most sad babies today can't think of strategy and have to cheat somehow to get through stuff.

This is the Beta patch if I am not mistaken? I use this one. Now what is difrent between this and the matrix one? I don't know.

| I'll have to test on the weekend but I believe Matrix made a warning pop up for WAR and later releases if the data files of the two players do not match. |
