Nice find. Thank you very much
We are the pilgrims, master. We shall go
always a little further, it may be
beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow,
across that angry or that glimmering sea.

Another cliched story about Stalingrad...both Russian and foreign public works tends to limit itself for positional fights in the city. But real Stalingrad was very broad, it includes great air battle, great tank skimrish called 'battle for Semaphore at 564km junction', that costs to soviet troops 70 tanks in two days, and to germans 1/4 of all stock of artillery shells spended in same two days, defence of Volga river crossing (including so called 'Second Attack of the Dead Men') - so many scenarios, but all we see is only the winter fights in the city.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
