Everytime I try to launch a game I get an error message saying : There was an error preventing the game from being launched. Check to make sure the game is properly installed and that the path is correct.

I don't have a firewall and I'm on 56k so I'm pretty sure the problem doesn't come from this.

Can anyone please help me? I really want to play this game online, I've had enough of the shitty AI...

look at any anti virus, like nortons, zone alarm, ice etc, allow ccv.exe in program acceptance list.
disable at last resort.

also u need the original ccv disk. copies may not work unless u got gjs/stalingrad no cd mods.

beyond that, fucked if i know....

Turns out my WMI(Windows Management Instrumentation) is completely fucked so I can't access the Advanced tab under my internet connection properties(Firewall) and the only way to fix this is reinstalling Windows.

This sucks because I don't even know if that's the problem. It's not that I can't connect it's simply that I can't launch a multiplayer game under GameSpy(the singleplayer under GameSpy works fine tho)...
