I agree - CC4 maps are the BEST looking maps of all. The original maps were an absolute work of art. The new WAR maps have richer colours, but less detail.
My only issue is there is TOO MANY ROADS. You see a small house with a paved road on all 4 sides, or dead ends and roads that turn back on themselves. It just isnt realistic to me.
The pictures I have seen of those villages have 1 or 2 paved roads (highways) running through them often as a crossroad, the rest are unpaved.
