Just artistic outlet at this point, not jet final. I am very happy with it. It amazes me that this small area had over 200,000 fighters crammed on both sides.

At this point it is just creative outlet. I missed making maps, actually I started missing CC which always leads me to maps creation. I was talking to Pete about Ortona and he suggested to maybe make another mod for Italy near Ortona, but the lead that he gave me led me to Anzio area by mistake. I just love the idea of Anzio. After I read about it, it looked like it was a coin toss concerning who would come on top.
The battlefield is flat and very open. Perfect for armor, but only on main roads, mud all around. Tigers, Panthers, and Ferdinands on German side.  Smile
It would be a good even Grand campaign.
So, if there is an interest, and time in my schedule, then maybe. I was really thinking about to mod it for the upcoming CC if possible. If not I am open to suggestions.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
