Hi all,
Haven't played any CC game in a couple of years and just saw this on steam and bought it.
Are there any must have mods yet?
Are any of the other "reboots" of the older games worth buying?

Unfortunately, there are no mods for GWTC YET. A user - Normanda Firefox - is making a 1946 mod for this certain game. Also, it was released a week ago, so there's bound to be mods in the future. if you want to do some Multiplayer, I'm free for some days per week.

For some reason a few features were removed in PiTF and in GTC;
- buying units with points which is great for single battles
- selecting individual squads
- 2nd BG lending units to the frontline BG (you could attack a map at 2 VL's)
There has been some changes/improvements with higher bit depth graphics and more detailed/zoomed in maps.

I´m not the unique man making mods for GTC, there are more people but I do not go to reveal what they are making. ;)
Anothet thing what I can tell you, it is how the game can be modded easily and how because it will be very probably the last game with this engine, many more people will make mods for this game. Even probably the older re-releases can be made for GTC easily. Just with some of work.

It is not true at 50%. You can select individual squads but most of them are support units, guns, special vehicles and more. Most of the units made individual in previous CC, they were linked all them at a single company formed by 7 teams. Teams which if you want, you can edit the composition from each company easily, just with excell.
