Those last adjustments, if Michael is still monitoring his mod have really toughened it up. It's a LOT harder now to play it and much more fun. Just removing the 1-2 slots from Axis B-G's, taking away all Panthers from KG Cochran, adjust troop strength, or equipment load out has really helped. No idea how missed all of this a few years back, but glad your "issues", though temporarily a problem for you have helped me to discover his final version.

Generally, by 12/19 have nearly rolled over all of the allied forces and am awaiting the last ditch reserves to arrive. Now? Have several units in fairly weak strength and have had to alter the way go about attacking the strat map for all ardennes campaigns because of that, moving weakened units to reserve rolls etc..

Playing at elite vs line. had started vs recruit, may have been harder.. Might be 2nd time thru.

Plan to have a try of this next mate, at the moment i am still playing INSIS by Gunsche. I am really enjoying it, it seems a lot harder to get kills and the AI seems to be making me pay for any ground i win.

Just to make things clear (again!   ) The version of vetbob 1 you are using is the one we referred to hear?

I only ask as i tried the first few missions just to see if i had the correct mod, but i didn't notice any slots missing from Axis BG's, initially anyway. Although i have only played a few of the initial night missions to be fair.

If your using a different version with any further updates could you post a link please mate?

That's the one Slipper. Should be fairly easy to notice BG's with slots missing. Just click on them at Strat map and they will show as missing 1-2 teams.

Just being short that many hampers pushing forward also, not to mention KG Peiper, which was already short in the previous versions is now missing slots, short multiple Grenadier units and lost all the K-Tigers, but 1 initially at the start in this particular game am playing. Michael did arm them with a werframen half track, but very, very few infantry and all sorts of vehicles, though few of any use. Great job playing them. You have to be careful which map to engage BG's like Piper and Krause that have powerful units, but almost no support (infantry) for them.

Started the mod at Veteran-Line. Don't think that would be why slots are blank on Axis, but possible Slipper. You could just use that setting, start one, then quickly click over initial axis units to see if any slots are short.

I can confirm i am not playing Firefox's WaR AOVetBoB ver1.03 Mod, as i have this installed aswell and its different again.

Right clicking doesnt load any image for me.

Do you have a desktop icon that says VETBoB?
If not can you load VETBoB from your programs folder?


I.E.
Start,close combat wacht am rhein
VETBoB?

The link you posted is correct.

If not its possible you may need to reinstall the Mod.
Do you have the latest patch from matrix?

dont know why my images do not show, so i posted a direct link to them again above mate. Not sure wether i have the correct version or not now?. The splash screen looks different to yours but definately says vetbob at the top, the team rosters do appear to have the 2 teams missing like in your image.


Yes the desktop launch icon says vetbob and has the famous German soldier image the same as this

I have reinstalled a few times, and as you can see from my loading screen image above i have the most up to date patch.

I guess I'm still not understand the problem.

Is it only because you don't see the splash screen?

I'm assuming all the Vehicles/Tanks and AT_Guns are different than the stock game?

I must have your mod mate, i dont have the splash screen above but i do have the one everyone refers to and you mention with a picture on the first page of this discussion with TT's VETBoB at the top of the screen, just been a bit confusing here thats all mate with different mods having similar names, although would be interested to know why i dont see the image you have posted above.

No fault of anyone but my own

I did a lot of updates and had the PC crash.lost EVEYTHING!


Its still worth playing no matter what version you have.
in all honesty i didn't add a version to each update knowing it would never be completed.

There's no need to scramble for the latest version as I have no idea who has it.

Now my turn to become confused. 4.0 version Salhexe has appears to be small (92gb) and likely a plugin version like the earlier versions were, not like the one Michael has on the FTP now.

Nothing wrong with this and numbering system would have taken a large jump (to 4.0) also.
