big enemy tank and you don;t want to go head on with it? no problem, drop some smoke right in front of it and sneak around to it's sides. Better if using multiple tanks to do this.

So you want to knock something big out with a little weapon you get the dreaded black circle and a rookie tanker or AT gun telling you that they can't hurt it or armor is too thick. A black circle doesn't mean that the object can't be destroyed just a slim chance of it (cc3 manual last page) Now lets increase those chances. Maneuver a command team within the radius of the other team that won't shoot at it, the commanders presence will be noticed abruptly and you will see them shoot with no more can't hurt it messages. This should work on all games.

I'd like to add to that.

Deploy a Rocket Carrier. Rocket Carriers solve everything and get shiny medals for being destructive little tinkers in the process. Come to think about it weren't "Tinkers" people that would source and trade scrap metal? Kind of fitting really.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
