Hello guys, this is my 1st message on this forums, and I should say I'm a big fan of Close Combat V and al of its mods.

Having said that, I must report a problem I didn't found the answer for, here on the forums!

I've uninstalled CC5 and its mods some time ago because it had some weird graphic bug. The thing is I found a fix for the graphics bug and now I installed CC5 again on my Lenovo with Windows 7. Then after installing it to

C:\Program Files\SSI\Close Combat Invasion Normandy;

I keep getting the following error message:

Quote:
Insufficient disk space to run the program. Delete files or reinstall Close Combat in another hard drive

EDIT - I forgot telling you guys I've got plenty hard disk space so it doesn't make sense...

After that I was mad and got into regedit but I ended up messing with close combat registry in regedit...So I think I need a lot of fixes...

comeon guys I need to be able to play it again. Someone please help me...!? Thanks in advance.

The insufficient disk space message can occur if there is a corrupt/missing map or if the game doesn't have permission to read a map.

Thank you for your repply!

After experimenting I was able to run the program on Admin...

There's a new problem now...I tryed to install the 5.01 patch, it installs normally but then when I launch CC5 it's not updated. The v 5.01 doesn't appear at the bottom of screen...

Any idea? I've installed and agreed with everything just as the guide tells me to do...

Sorry for some obvious questions I may post, I'm just terrible with computer stuff...

Easy fix. When you install the patch ignore the prompts to enter the correct folder. Just keep clicking next next next etc etc.... Works for me in Win7 64bit.

I tried this Mooxe, but have been no sucessful at all

I ended up manually replacing the contents in the game folder with the patch, and manage to make it work properly...

However, thanks for support. I could figure somethings out. looking forward to play H2H Stalingrad : )

Did you also install the patch as administrator ? Sometimes PC can make the difference between the normal user and administator. It happened to me once, your view of folders were different depending on your authorization.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
