Supposedly, coming form a South Korean guy it was very a baised book agasint the north koreans but i have no idea....
I didnt know L. Bond was South korean!! I thought he was english..hmmm
THe part i rermember the most from the book, is when the N.K. army does a full assault across the DMZ- which is being gaurded by Americans- of course the Americans dont stand a chance. THat one chapter how a Platoon is just cut to pieces and the officer survives by hiding under some dead bodies... very scary stuff.
THen a mass evacuation of Soul- with panic'd civ's heading south and Soilders heading north creating nasty trafic snarls..
I believe in the end of the book the US does a normandy type landing up the west coast- high north - cutting of supply to NK units in the south..
Well thats what i remember -- ill try to dig it out of my book pile and re-read.
The book mirrored the 1991 Gulf war tactics of placing an empty marine fleet off the coast as a diversion with a land flanking assault. Written years before the war and very interesting in the way it mirrored later tactics.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
