We needed to really make some headway, as for most of the war we had been living under a German victory, ansd were getting pushed back on almost all maps.

After a bad day at work and some exams I was in a bas modd asnd wanted to take it out on the first ANZAC I came accross.

Enter Cannonfodder.

Pont L'Abbe:

I expected Cannon to thrust east, and had a blocking force there while I intended to attack from the south and try to take the German Supply VL. But Cannon was having non of that and stayed put in the town, allowing me to get back a couple of VL's. The battle in the twon was nasty, and I lost a couple of tanks to the big cats of this BG.

I really should get more screens, most of these AAR's are quite bland.

St Jores

We were in it deep here, since the first battle we had been struggling, and ANZAC were poised to route us off this map. So I did what I probably never should have done. Took the limit of five tanks and tried to break out.

The North was always going to be tough, so I put some 2nd line troops there to slow Cannon down, while I went south.

A wolverine got immobilised early on, but was able to cover the advance of a Sherman 76 and escorting infantry. I had a command Sherman detailed as well, but it got immobilised by artillery.

After taking out an Mg and seizing the Raids VL my little group headed west, racing against time to capture as much ground as I could. It was here Cannon dropped an airstrike on the tank.

While I was traveeling east I had seen infantry moving from the centre west to protect the supply VL and thought Canon had emptied the centre, so I assaulted the centre with mr rearguard. That was stupid mistake as cannon killed those guys and ran forward, taking the Auvers VL. I tried to kill the two teams he had runing there with an ATG in the hills plus an airstrike, by the planes didn't drop anything so the managed to make it, despite some furious and futile attampts to take that VL back.

Thankfully weare still supplied through Raids.

All up they were great games, and the Minor Allied Victory is just what our team need as a boost to morale.

Cheers,

Verboten

Cip went well in this game, reclaiming 2 vls previously won by ANZACs.
Also destroying a Panzer3 and stug along the way,for the loss of just a sherman.
was too busy in game to remember taking any pics.

rather boring, i sneaked south, lost 1 inf, lost gun mk3 and immobilised mk4, tried desperately to get jackson with no main gun (morters)

in the end, nothing much, enemy used to simple hold to cut fuel/ammo.

Verb loses two 50 cal h/t early, then gets serious, here a wolve attacking with troops survives a mortar barrage

merc troops storming my supply vl come under the guns of a 75/mm h/t and IVG

stuart advancing with troops cops the same treatment as wolve
