ye for all those trying to help, tell us what it was.
Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands
Still understand nothing...
When I type ftp.closecombatseries.net, I am directed to CCS home page and nothing else...
Could someone explain exactly the procedure, step by step, with screenshots if necessary, keeping in mind that I am not graduate in computers or informatics...

Unfortunately, when I attempted yesterday to install the ftp program on my PC, my PC has crashed. It is today in repair.... Let's hope that I will be able to recover the files...
Anyway guys, no way for the moment and even in the future to upload anything. If the mod exists one day or another, I will mail a (free, of course)CD to anyone who wants the game.
Let's go back to the issue:
What I can tell you is that the problem does NOT come from the files. I have tried to play this last week-end with the KESSEL files on my other mod Aisne: I did not see any problem or crash. My adb's are OK. Definitively.
I am now sure that the problem comes from the stratmap, thus the exe file.
I have tried to redo my stratmap this week-end, without success.
One thing, however: I have noticed a very strange thing when i was on the Stratmapedit program: the last connection was only in one direction (for example, the program accepted my connection from map 12 to map 13, but not from map 13 to map 12 (I had an arrow with the red cross indicating that the connection is refused...) So, I guess that the number of connections in my exe could be odd ? Perhaps it could be the problem?
Hence, 2 questions:
1) Do you know an other program than Strtaedit to edit a stratmap?
) Has anybody tried to make a stratmap, not using all the connections? (I would like to redo my stratmap without the last connection (which is in only one direction)? Could this stratmùap be OK and playable?

i think u just need to go into map 13 btd and make sure their is a connecting exit vl to map 12.
Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands
The game crashes anyway in the three different btd configurations:
- no exit VL's in map 12 and map 13
- exit VL in 12 but not in 13
- exit VL's in both 12 and 13.
What frightengs me is rather that the game could look for exit VL's par pair of them. If he is only considering 12 to 13 (first part of the pair), perhaps he could consider the following one (let's say 13 to 14) as the second part of the pair.... And after, it could be a cascade of pairs not related to the same maps.
What makes me guess that is that I fel that maps whose number is superior to 37 ALWAYS crashes, when maps whose number is inferior or equal to 37 work more or less.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
