Hello all,
I play the GJS 4.4 mod since ages with a lot of pleasure.
But, i just changed my Pc for a brand new Laptop with a 256 mb NVIDIA 6800 ultra card.

When i launch the game, it run smootly but after some minutes (in fact variable duration from 1 to 5 minutes) i receive a direct draw error message (something about a trouble with "surface"???...) and the game crashe and kick me out of the game.
the graphic card pilot is 26/05/05 dated...

Any clue to avoid to me a soon self hanging attempt ?

I think you may need to disable Direct Draw in DirectX to get the game to function
