There is some map which connects to three other maps to east. I don't remember the name, will take a picture shot. In that case, you cannot do anything to cover your back.

Just wait till reinforcements arrive. then you have more units to fill the gap that the moving bg left on that map. It's best to use a fast bg for that to make sure you have the better position due to arriving earlier compared to the enemy. This also a good way to encircle a unit that's stupid enough to move in the gap.

You speak of STADIUM map with Dolgly Gully to the north, North Train Station to the N/E and Central Docks just east. Also Fallen Fighters Square in south and West Stalingrad directly west of Stadium.
Something Pzt faces in our war with the mercs.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
